Have you always dreamed of having your own podcast? Do you have a story to tell?

This new and exciting Journalism and Podcasting course aims to empower students to produce creative stories in a way that informs, educates and entertains.

This one-year course will develop journalism industry skills for use in a multi-platform environment. Students will learn various ways of storytelling including podcasting, radio, video, print, and online publication.

Students on this course will be prepared for a career in multi-media journalism, learning key skills such as research, content creation and podcast production.

Leaving Certificate or equivalent is preferable. Mature students are welcome to apply.

Progression

Graduates can progress to Journalism & New Media QQI level 6 at CDCFE, or to a range of national courses through the QQI/CAO system
