VTOS means Vocational Training Opportunities Scheme. VTOS gives unemployed adults over 21 the opportunity of returning to full time education, while retaining their benefit.

This course offers students an excellent opportunity to further develop their artistic skills and creativity. The aim of the course is to provide participants with the skills and knowledge to work independently in a fine art and design context, or to progress to higher education.
As part of the course students will complete the necessary paperwork to enable them to apply for Percent for Art Schemes, exhibitions, residencies, etc.

Entry requirements

QQI Level 5 in Art and Design, or other relevant award.
Mature students welcome.

Progression

Students who successfully complete the Level 6 in Art and Design are eligible to apply for advanced entry to the second year of many third level colleges including:
IADT, NCAD, TU Dublin, GMIT.
