  • What is GET?

GETstands for Gateway to Employment and Training.  GET coursesare part-time education programmes i.e. usually three days per week (approximately 14 hours per week). Courses take place during the day-time. GET programmes provide training for anyone hoping to up-skill, re-skill or gain new knowledge. GET programmes enhance job prospects and improve  education and progression options. All our programmes lead to full FETAC awards.

  • Who can take part in a GET Programme?
    GET programmes are for anyone over the age of 18 who has left full-time education. Priority will be given to those who are currently unemployed and who have not successfully completed their upper second level education. Those in receipt social welfare payments are entitled to free tuition and at the same time can keep all their social welfare benefits.








  • What GET programmes will be available in Autumn 2012?All GET courses are now full for Autumn 2012
