This full time Engineering Technology Level 5 course is designed to meet the needs of a variety of students who wish to explore the field of engineering.  The course aims to develop skills, knowledge, and expertise essential to gaining an apprenticeship in a range of trades in the industry, as well as providing progression opportunities to those interested in studying engineering at third level.

Entry Requirements

Candidates need to have completed Leaving Certificate, Leaving Cert Applied or equivalent. Mature students, and those without a formal education, are welcome to apply.

Students will have developed pre-apprenticeship skills which will make them eligible for employment and progression into a range of trades. Students can also progress to a number of degrees in a Universities including TU Dublin.
