Environmental Monitoring and Sustainability

QQI Award in Laboratory Techniques Level 5 (5M3807)

This course is designed for anyone who has an interest in learning about environmental monitoring and sustainability and may be interested in pursuing a career in this area. Students will receive a foundation in the major science subjects along with environmental specific modules such as Sustainable Water Management, Environmental Studies and Permaculture Design.

Students who pass all modules including course practical work (the pass mark in each subject is 50%) may be eligible for entry to a variety of Level 7 and 8 degree courses in Universities and Institutes of Technology nationwide, through the QQI Higher Education Links Scheme.
