Part-Time Day & Evening Courses
CDCFE offers an exciting range of part-time courses during the day and evening. These courses are designed to improve the student’s competence and skills and to prepare one for further and higher education and training in a part-time setting. Our part-time courses are also for those who wish to return to education for the enjoyment of learning itself and/or for the social interaction. Anyone from the age of 16+ is welcome to enroll! Younger students avail of courses to participate in the Gaisce awards and/or to have that extra qualification for entry to better opportunities for work or further study in college.
When registering for your chosen course, please ensure you provide your DOB; PPSN; Gender & Name as you want it to appear on a certificate. For most occupations you will need a NIL Garda Vetting report. When you have registered for your part-time course, please download the Komeer app and sign up to CDCFE! Communicatiion to the students will be via the Komeer App!
A distinctive feature, which the college is proud of, is its ability to respond to the educational needs of the local working population, community groups, and the individual. CDCFE’s Part-Time Department welcomes any request or query for new programs from an individual or group of people.
Interviews are held for our top-up degree courses and applications are processed from March each year. Interviews are held for a limited number of part-time courses – view the relevant course in the part-time prospectus and the website for further details.
