This new, exciting and fully-funded traineeship provides the knowledge, skills and experience necessary to work in the Television, Film and Radio sectors. This practical course offers mandatory vocational work placement with our industry partners, gaining you invaluable real-world experience, whilst also engaging in college-based learning which equips participants to work in a vibrant, dynamic and growing media sector.
Applicants who are currently in receipt of a Social Welfare payment may continue to receive that payment for the duration of the course.
Course Structure
The course will be a blend of in person college classes combined with a work placement with a partner media company.

Why Should You Apply?
This course will give you the opportunity to gain work placement with major media companies in Ireland and train in technical media production skills. It is a fully funded training programme which includes software, equipment, guest speakers, industry certification and excursions. Work and Train with likeminded media professionals in an exciting environment while gaining the skills to enable you to work in the TV & Film industry.
Entry Requirements
Applicants should ideally have previous media experience or a QQI L5 or equivalent qualification in relevant area.
Applicants will be called for interview and should present a portfolio of media related work. For example, short videos, TikToks, Social media content, photographs, scripts etc.
Applicants must have a willingness to learn on the job and ability to work in a faced paced environment.
Applicants whose first language is not English may be asked to complete an English proficiency test prior to acceptance.
